Dr. Laura Gogny is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Guangdong Institute for International Strategies, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Salamanca, Spain (Summa Cum Laude).

Before joining GDUFS, she served as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at UNED University, the largest public university in Spain, where she also taught courses on International Relations and European Affairs. Her research focuses on International Relations, International Security, and European Studies, with particular attention to great power competition and the evolving dynamics of regional security in Africa and Europe.

Dr. Gogny has published in JCR-indexed journals such as European Security (SSCI Q1) and International Critical Thought, and co-authored several book chapters published by Routledge and leading Spanish publishers including Tirant lo Blanch and Aranzadi. She has presented her work at international conferences and academic forums in Spain, South Korea, the United States, and China.
