On March 20, 2015, Zheng Zeguang, Assistant Foreign Minister, made a special report on international situation in 2015 at Guangdong Institute for International Strategies (GIIS). This symposium was attended by relevant leaders and scholars from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the People's Republic of China, Foreign Affairs Office of Guangdong Province, Foreign Affairs Office of Guangzhou Municipal Government, Guangdong Academy of Social Science, Party School of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of CPC, Guangdong University ofForeign Studies(GDUFS) and Guangdong Institute for International Strategies(GIIS), and was hosted by Sui Guangjun, the Party secretary of GDUFS and the executive deputy director of GIIS. At the symposium, Zheng Zeguang reviewed and summarized international situation in 2014 and made an in-depth analysis of international situation in 2015. After that, all participants discussed and exchanged ideas on relevant issues.
