On the afternoon of January 29, associateprofessor Liang Xi, director of the Edinburgh Centre on Climate Change (ECCC)and Energy Financial experts, visited Guangdong Institute for InternationalStrategies (GIIS) and attended the EU Frontier Symposium for Low CarbonDevelopment. Li Qing, Secretary-general of GIIS presided at the symposium withLiu Jisen, deputy secretary general of GIIS, Professor Zeng Chuhong being present.
Attendees exchanged ideas about theinfluence of low-carbon policies on the trade, how to conduct inter-regionaland inter-enterprise carbon trading, and the research direction of low carbonin the future.
