On January 23, 2015, Chen Hanxi and LiuJisen, both deputy secretary generals of Guangdong Institute for International Strategies (GIIS), attended the First Base Joint Conference of Network ASEAN-China Thinktanks (NACT) in 2015 held by Xiamen University. More than 30 leaders and scholars in total from Department of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, China Foreign Affairs University, Yunnan University, Guangxi University, Guangdong Institute for International Strategies (GIIS) and Xiamen University presented at the conference.
