According to the six research directions of the Institute, the panel conducted investigations in the relevant department of Faculty of English Language and Culture, School of International Trade and Economics, School of Management, School of Finance, Faculty of European Languages and Cultures, and Research Center for International Trade and Economic. The panel also selected some significant subjects as the focus of the institute for the next year and future.
In the investigation and research, Li Qing described the background of establishment and relevant introduction of the Institute in detail. She focused on the strategic orientation of "Two Platforms and Two Tanks" of GRIIS, and how to promote the "Think tank" role, and make use of the high-level research platform to improve the ability of GDUFS in research and social service.

It is an opportunity for all the departments to take full advantage of GRIIS to integrate resources, enhance ability to obtain resources, and promote the development of scientific research and discipline building. The project selection should focus on the internationalization and strategy. The results should provide detailed and reliable information for Guangdong Provincial Government on decision-making.
