On March 28th, Gu Yeli, Vice President of GDUFS, led representatives of the university to attend the Investment Promotion and Trade Conference &Talents Recruitment Cooperation Symposium held by Zhongshan city. Invited as special guests and present at the meeting as well as the Summit Forum of Zhongshan Talents were Gu Yeli, vice President of GDUFS, Li Qing, Secretary-General of Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies, Chen Duoyou, the director of the Faculty of Asian Languages and Cultures, Japanese experts, and Hong Shihong, visiting Professor at Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies.
Zhongshan city enjoys the advantages of a solid industry foundation, comprehensive transportation network, harmonious human and social environment which have attracted an increasing number of new and grand projects. In this Meeting, Zhongshan city adopted the innovative idea of holding synchronously the Talents Recruitment Cooperation Symposium, which had attracted more than 100 overseas talents to come with their technology or projects. Among those overseas talents, more than 50 had one or two Doctor’s degrees, mostly in the field of biopharmacy, electronic information, new energy, environmental materials, cloud calculation, etc. Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies, to implement the Strategic Cooperation Agreement signed between Zhongshan city and GDUFS, had played a positive role in carrying out close cooperation with Zhongshan CPC Municipal Committee in the introduction of top talents.
