At the invitation of the Center for European Studies, Jiang Shixue, the Deputy Executive of European Research Office, Scientific Socialism Research Institute, discussed with the teachers and students on the European debt crisis in European Forum held in B106 No. 6 Building, on the afternoon of November 18th. This forum was held by the Center for European Studies and Juris Master Center. All the Master degree candidates of European Studies and Legal Studies attended the forum.
Jiang Shixue talked on two topics of European debt crisis and the research methodology of international studies. He elaborated on ten hot issues of the crisis which were brought by "ten questions on the crisis". It is a hot issue whether China will save Europe or not. Jiang Shixue listed three opinions on it: "the Savior", "goody-goody “and "friendly blackmail". He advanced two implications of "saving": first was to help the trapped completely out of trouble, the other was to all the help it could to reduce the trouble. He pointed out that the latter one was reasonable. Talking on the solution, he thought external assistance should be more powerful than self rescue.
Later, Jiang Shixue shared ten research methodologies of international studies. At last, Cai Hong briefly commented on the lecture and expressed appreciation to the beneficial and insightful analysis.
