In the morning of May 8th, Li Qing, secretary-general of Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies, Prof. Yang Shaogang, executive chief editor of "Studies on Strategic Decisions", Liu Jisen, deputy secretary general of GRIIS, Cai Hong, director of Center for European Studies, Lin Yaojun, director of Resource-saving and Environment Climate Office of the Provincial Development & Reform Commission, and Chen Yijun, deputy director of the same office of DRC had a meeting to talk over issues about low carbon program application in 2012, low carbon forum, low carbon training class and achieved agreement on future cooperation.
In the afternoon, Li Qing and Liu Jisen met with Mr. Zhou of FTECD and others to exchange ideas about the research project of strategic new industries. A report will be written based on this project and an export product catalog will be compiled. After the meeting, GRIIS would organize experts to write a research plan in detail for further discussion.
