Ambassador Zhang Yan Visited GDUFS and Talked on the Present and Future Situation of Sino-India

In the afternoon of July 3rd, Symposium (extended) of the Central Group of the Party Committee of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, or the Lecture of Quality-Building of Cadres in University, was held in the Lecture Hall of the Library in North Campus. Zhang Yan, China's ambassador to India made a speech titled “the Present Situation and Developing Trend of Sino-India Relation and the Features of the Current International Situation”.

The lecture was organized by the Party Committee of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and co-organized by Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies. Sui Guangjun, the party secretary of GDUFS and executive deputy director of GRIIS, presided over the lecture.

Ambassador Zhang Yan elaborated on the impression of India, the status quo and future of Sino-India relation.
Gui Guangjun hosted the meeting
Gui Guangjun made the conclusion. He said Ambassador Zhang had shown a polybasic and unique India with huge potential, explained the close relation and some disputes between China and India, and made a prospect of the development of the two countries. He called for the leaders and cadres of GDUFS to learn from the speech by Zhang Yan and broaden the vision to work harder and break a new ground for building GDUFS into a high-level university with distinctive internationalization characteristics.
