On October 16th, Research Group on China’s “Going-out” of GRIIS attended a seminar in Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangdong Province. The participants include Rong Peichan, director of DOFTEC, Prof. Liang Lijun and Cheng Yonglin, member of Research Group on China’s “Going-out” and research fellows of GRIIS and Professor Liu Jisen, deputy secretary general of GRIIS.
In the seminar, Rong Peichan raised advisory opinions on the issue of opportunities and challenges of China’s “going-out” policy, according to the key emphasis in work of DOFTEC and practical cases. Rong suggested that China should seize the opportunity of finacial crisis to cultivate local enterprises and encourage them to go out. The government should also provide supporting service such as laws and policies to reduce the rishs, After the seminar, participants had further discussion and it turned out to have achieved fine results.
