On the afternoon of Dec. 13th, Prof. Liu Jisen, deputy secretary general of GRIIS and Prof. Chen Wanling, research fellow of GRIIS was invited to the Marine Forum of 2012 China Marine Economy Expo which is hosted by People's Government of Guangdong Province and State Oceanic Administration and co-organized by Administration of Ocean &Fisheries of Guangdong Province and Publicity Education Center of State Oceanic Administration. This theme for the Expo this year is "Explore marine resources scientifically and promote transformation and upgrading of economy". Li Jianshe, inspector of Administration of Ocean &Fisheries of Guangdong Province, hosted the opening ceremony. Wang Hong, deputy director general of State Oceanic Administration, gave the address on the ceremony.
After the ceremony, Chen Liangyao, director of Administration of Ocean &Fisheries of Guangdong Province, hosted the Forum. The keynote speeched were given by Li Jianshe, inspector of Administration of Ocean &Fisheries of Guangdong Province, Wang Dianchang, director of Department of Policies, Regulations and Planning of State Oceanic Administration, Wu Yousheng, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and China Shipbuilding Research center, Jin Xianglong, research fellow of the Second Institute of Oceanography of State Oceanic Administration, Lin Haoran, professor of Sun Yat-sen University and academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chen Dan, president of Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce and Guangdong Marine Association, Chen Hongyu, counselor of People's Government of Guangdong Province, Xiang Xiaomei, director of Social Science Research Institute of Industrial Economy of Guangdong and Wang Jinfa, executive vice president of China Ming Yang Wind Power Group Limited.
