On the morning of July 10th, Mr. Sherwood D. Goldberg, who is the President of SDG International Consulting Company, senior consultant of Center for Naval Analyses on Asian Affairs, and member of the board of trustees of Dickinson College, visited GRIIS and gave a lecture on “Relations between China and the US”. The participants include Prof. Cai Hong, deputy director of GRIIS and director of Center for European Studies, Prof. Li Yongning, chief editor of International Focus, Prof. Chen Hanxi, researcher of GRIIS and Prof. Shen Benqiu from Guangzhou University.
Prof. Li Yongning hosted the lecture and firstly introduced the participants. Then, Mr. Goldberg talked on the cooperation and communication between China and the US in terms of politics, economy, education, natural resource and academics. At last, Prof. Chen Hanxi and Shen Benqiu discussed with Mr. Goldberg on the hot issues between China, the US and Japan.
