On the afternoon of 23rd September, at the invitation by the Indian Consulate General in Guangzhou, Professor Liu Jisen, deputy secretary general of GRIIS, led a delegation of 4 researchers of GRIIS to HNA Tower where the India Consulate in Guangzhou is based, to attend the academic conference of “Asian peace: role of China-India & United State”. The speaker was Mr. Chintamani Mahapatra, Professor of International Relationship Faculty of Jawaharlal Nehru University and chairman of North American Research Centre. During the conference, Prof. Li Yongning from GRIIS exchanged ideas on Japan’s status and role in Asian peace with the speaker.
Prof. Chintamani Mahapatra is the visiting professor of GRIIS, special consultant of Indian Studies Centre and “Yunshan Scholar” candidate of GDUFS.
