On the afternoon of 12th September, the 32th Yunshan Academic Salon of GRIIS was held at meeting room 304.Bo Zhiyue, the researcher of East Asia Researcher Institute of University of Singapore gave a speech on the topic of “The International Strategy of Singapore”. Li Yongning, chief editor of “International Focus” hosted the speech. Researchers of GRIIS, supervisors and master students and doctoral candidates of Center for European Studies, students of other faculties and all staff of GRIIS attended the academic salon.
At the beginning of the salon, Professor Li Yongning briefly introduced Professor Bo Zhiyue. And then Prof. Bo started from the establishment of East Asia Institute, talking about the international strategy of Singapore in policy, economy and military. He also added some interesting stories of Goh Keng Swee. In the second half of the salon, Professor Bo Zhiyue discussed a lot with the attendees. Professor Bo Zhiyue answered questions with great patience. The salon achieved a great success.
