On Dec. 3rd, Liu Feng, director of Institute of Marine Law and Policy of National Institute for South China Sea Studies, visited GRIIS and talked on the use of China-ASEAN Marine Cooperation Fund, the promotion of marine cooperation and the building of “marine silk road” in the 21st century with Liu Jisen, deputy secretary general of GRIIS, Song Haixiao, researcher of GRIIS, and teachers from the Faculty of Asian Languages and Cultures including Chen Jihua, Tan Xiao and Qin Weifen. They discussed on the marine economy, security and national studies on the countries surrounding South China Sea and put forward suggestions and advice to the cooperation of the two sides.
