On February 27, GRIIS held a special session on the construction of Guangdong “going-global” database. Sui Guangjun, the Party secretary of GDUFS and the executive deputy director of GRIIS, Yang Aimin, director of Personnel Department, Qiao Wanlin, director of Educational Technology Center, Wu Fangfei, Chief Librarian of the School Library, Li Qing, Secretary-general of GRIIS, Liu Jisen, deputy secretary general of GRIIS and other experts were present at the meeting, which was chaired by Li Qing. The participants had in-depth exchanges and discussion on the supporting platform of Collaborative Innovation Center of Guangdong “Going-Global” Studies and database construction.
Firstly, Sui Guangjun emphasized the importance of the construction of Guangdong “going-global” database. GRIIS should strive to be the authority for information data release, to construct the database that can support research and to present characteristic database product.
Later, the participants expressed their own ideas and advice. Lastly, Li Qing made a conclusion and made clear the tasks and schedules.
