The seminar was held by Huang Guoping, director of Policy Research Department of Foreign Affairs Office of Guangdong People’s Government and attended by more than 10 scholars from GRIIS, Provincial Academy of Social Sciences, Sun Yat-Sen University, Jinan University and Guangdong Research Association of Emerging Economies. Prof. Chen Wanling and Dr. Song Haixiao elaborated on the focus, difficulties, and the international cooperation of building the Maritime Silk Road in the 21st Century and the effort that GRIIS had made for it. They exchanged ideas with the participants and gave their opinions for the research cooperation between Guangdong think tanks on this issue.
