On the afternoon of December 25, Zheng Zeguang, Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presented the certificate and plaque of “Policy Research Partner of Ministry of Foreign Affairs” to GRIIS. In view of GRIIS’ remarkable contribution in policy research and international strategy research, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs awarded the first certificate to GRIIS which showed its approval to GRIIS’ achievement as a new think-tank of the government.


Wang Wenbin, deputy director of the Policy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sui Guangjun,the Party secretary of GDUFS, Zhong Weihe, the president of GDUFS and Gu Yeli, the vice president were present at the awarding ceremony. Sui Guangjun pointed out that Guangdong was a large province of opening-up and shouldered great mission and responsibility for reform and opening-up. He hoped that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs could provide Guangdong with strategic guidance and information support in foreign trade and economy. Zheng Zeguang agreed and hoped to further cooperate with GRIIS in entrusted project, leaders exchange, academic communication and public diplomacy research.
