From April 3 to 11, Stephen Nicholas, Yunshan Professor and former vice president of the University of Newcastle in Australia came to carry out the joint research of the international project “the Study on the Recombination of Foreign Transnational Corporations and Chinese Subsidiary Companies in Guangdong Province”.
The focus of the research work is to write reports and research papers on the basis of the previously collected 160 questionnaires about multinational and local companies and through further integration and analysis of data. On the afternoon of April 4, Professor Nicholas and all the members of the research team met to discuss the questionnaire data, and the members reported the outlines of their parts of the investigation report. Professor Stephen Nicholas gave some advice on the writing.
It is said that members of both sides would write reports based on the questionnaires. This project is an important attempt on international joint research projects and will provide valuable experience for the future.
