Research Group of GRIIS Made a Research Investigation in Humen

On the morning of March 19, Liu Jisen, deputy secretary general of GRIIS, with three other members of the “International (Humen) Industrial Cooperation and Exchange Demonstration Platform” research group, went to make a research investigation at Humen. Members of the research group include Chu Maoming, Counselor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and visiting researcher of GRIIS, Dr. Song Haixiao, researcher of Center for Indian Studies, Dr. Hu Xiaohong of School of Management.
Ye Kongxin, Party Secretary of Humen, received the research team and made some macroscopic suggestions on the orientation and general idea of the project. He also introduced the industry types and economic development plan of Humen.
Then, Li Dingru, deputy town chief of Humen, hosted the discussion meeting, participated by representatives of Bureau of Foreign Trade, Bureau of Transportation and so on. They made in-depth exchanges in many aspects such as foreign trade and investment and infrastructure of Humen. It is reported that Humen has launched researches on four major industries including the clothing industry and will provide research results to the research group without delay.
