On the morning of April 21, the 36th European Forum and also the 53rd Yunshan Academic Salon: Europeanisation, Regionalisation and the “End” of the United Kingdom, was held in meeting room 304 of the 5th teaching building of GDUFS. Prof. Robert Geyer of Lancaster University, director of the Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion, gave a keynote speech. Master students of Center for European Studies attended the meeting. Professor Chen Hanxi, director of Center for European Studies chaired the meeting.
Professor Geyer talked on issues such as the status and role of UK in Europe and the EU and changes in the status of the UK and the EU.
