On the morning of December 24, Hua Mei, the counsellor of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and her colleagues visited GRIIS, the Policy Studies Base of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Hua Mei and her colleagues visited the Base in the accompany of Zhong Weihe, the president of GDUFS, He Chuantian, the vice-president of GDUFS, and Li Qing, secretary-general of GRIIS.
Li Qing briefly introduced to Hua Mei and her colleagues the history, staff, researches, international exchanges and cooperation and other basic information of GRIIS. GRIIS presented a research report on the key project “the Construction of 21th Century Maritime Silk Road”, which was highly praised and supported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Later, Hua Mei visited the exhibition hall of research and publications of GRIIS. She paid tribute to the work done by GRIIS and expressed her anticipation of the future cooperation.
The colleagues along with Hua Mei were Counsellor Li Jingsong and deputy director Qi Huanxin of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, director Zhang Quanjian and deputy director of Foreign Affairs Office of Guangdong Provincial People's Government. Guo Peng, the counsellor of Policy Planning Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China and Visiting Researcher of GRIIS also attended the meeting.
