From September 12 to 13, 2014, Prof. Zhou Fangyin of GRIIS went to Kunming to attend the seminar with the topic of Implementing the Idea of Neighboring Diplomacy and Promoting Major Proposes of the Neighboring. The seminar was co-organized by Policy Planning Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Yunnan University. Zheng Zeguang, assistant Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zhou Hong, director of Foreign Affairs Office of Yunnan Provincial People's Government, Lin Wenxun, president of Yunnan University attended the seminar and gave speeches. Leaders and representatives had in-depth discussions about China’s neighboring diplomatic situation and how to implement the major proposes of neighboring diplomacy.
