On the afternoon of November 3, 2014, Zhang Yuyan, Director of Institute of World Economics and Politics Chinese Academy of Social Sciences visited GDUFS for academic exchanges and made a speech on The Theory and Practice of Global Governance. Sui Guangjun, the CPC Party secretory of GDUFS and the executive deputy director of GRIIS, He Chuantian, the vice-president of GDUFS and director of Collaborative Innovation Center for Guangdong "Going-Global" Studies, all members of the Innovation Team Project of the Ministry of Education, and teachers and students of GRIIS and relevant faculties attended the academic salon. Li Qing, secretary-general of GRIIS chaired the salon.
Prof. Zhang Yuyan first presented seven theoretic frameworks, i.e. basic hypothesis, the core concept, the theory, the field of phenomena, the problems, the testing and the values. Then Prof. Zhang gave an in-depth interpretation of these seven aspects combining with the theory of global governance.
Then, Researchers Chen Wei, Xiao Yaofei, Chen Wanling, Zhou Fangyin from GDUFS exchanged ideas about the relevance between the building of “One Belt and One Road” and the global governance.
