On November 1 and 2, 2014, the Seminar on the Theory and Policy of China Neighboring Diplomacy hosted by Institute for Central Asian Studies of Lanzhou University (LZU) was held in the Yifu Building of Science and Technology. Participants were from Peking University, Renmin University of China, Fudan University, China Foreign Affairs University, Sun Yat-sen University, Yunnan University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences and other research institutions. Chen Hanxi, deputy secretary general of GRIIS was invited to attend this seminar. He made a speech with the topic of The Change of China’s Policy of Resolving Territorial Disputes and Its Effects and exchanged ideas with other scholars.
