GRIIS Signed Contracts for the First 11 Projects

On the afternoon of June 10, 2010, the project signing ceremony of GRIIS in 2010 was held in the International Conference Hall of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Li Guoping, The vice president of the School of Government of Peking University, Chen Wenhong, the director of China Business Center of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Sui Guangjun, the Party Secretary of GDUFS and the executive deputy director of Guangdong Research Institute of International Strategies, Shi Youqi, vice president of GDUFS, and project leaders participated in the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Li Qing, Secretary-General of GRIIS.

At the eremony, Li Qing firstly introduced the bid invitation of the projects. 11 scholars (including Prof. Tian Qiusheng of South China University of Technology) and their teams gained the 11 projects. Then Li Qing congratulated to them and hoped that the projects leaders can complete the projects with high quality and provide practical recommendations for the economy development of Guangdong.

Later, Shi Youqi signed the project contracts with the 11 scholars, and presented Prof. Li Guoping and Prof. Chen Wenhong letters of appointment as visiting researchers of GRIIS.

In the session of the Research Methods Workshop, Li Qing briefly introduced the purpose of the Workshop. The Workshop specially invited experts to share their successful experience.
