On the afternoon of March 25th, 2010, meeting for subject argumentation in 2010 of Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies was held in the third Conference Room of the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Wumao Qin, deputy director of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee Policy Research Office, Lihui Wu, deputy director of Provincial Development Research Center , Zheng Jianrong, Deputy Director of Foreign Economic and Trade Office, Cheng Yungju, Deputy Inspector of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, Li Bin, Director of Provincial Development and Reform Commission, provincial government experts, Gu Yeli, Vice-President of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Li Qing, Secretary-General of Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies attended the meeting.
During the meeting, experts and scholars took full account of international and domestic situation. Wu Maoqin pointed out that the prospect of low-carbon economy in contemporary society, and recommended to set up researches as soon as possible on the direction and goals, path and pace, and institutional guarantee of economic transformation and upgrading in Guangdong.
Li Huiwu made the concluding remarks for experts’ discussion. Despite the subjects are relatively concentrated, this discussion has widened the thinking and vision. After the classification, he summarized nine subjects, including the development of RMB regionalization and other eight ones.
