The Second Korea-China Academic Conference for Investment Environment Provides a New Approach to the Communication between Guangdong and Korea

On Dec. 18, 2010, the Second China and South Korea Academic Conference for Investment Environment was held in Dazhen University in South Korea. This conference is held jointly by Korean Dae Jin University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, and Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies.

Professor An Binghuan, from Dae Jin University, Huang Chenjun, the director of Bureau for Foreign Affairs and other scholars attended the meeting. Li Qing, the general-secretary and other seven scholars from the Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies attended the meeting.

The theme is "China and South Korea Investment Environment", focusing on the regional economic development and university’s role in the economic development. Su Xinggui, the professor of Dae Jin University analyzed the investment environment of Pocheon where Dae Jin University locates, which provided reference for the Chinese enterprise who what to go overseas.

Next, all the scholars talked freely and pragmatically. In the afternoon, two government officials drive the atmosphere of the conference onto a climax. They provided new directions for the economic and trade communication between Guangdong and Gyeonggido. In the discussion, they provided new proposals for the enterprises in Guangdong to invest in Korea.

Finally, the meeting ended with further discussion on cooperation between the two universities. This academic conference not only promoted the exchange between the two universities, but also gives full play to the role of University in the and through the academic conference; give full play to the university in the role of economic exchange. We believe the academic exchange will actively promote the communication between Guangdong and Korea.
