At 9:30 am. of April 25th, 2011, the Appointment Ceremony for Visiting Professor of Guangdong Research Institute of International Strategy (GRIIS) was held in the 3rdMeeting Room of the Administration Building. The appointed professor is Professor Hong Shihong洪诗鸿, who is the Dean of Graduate School of Hannan University of Japan. Professor Hong Shihong graduated from the Department of Economics of Kyoto University, and has taught in universities of Japan and U.S.A.. His major research areas is the international economy.
Several years ago, Professor Hong Shihong has cooperated with Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in teaching and scientific research, and contributed to promote the exchange between Hannan University and GDUFS. At the invitation of GRIIS, Professor Hong Shihong, as the visiting professor of GRIIS, will carry out researches on Sino-Japanese small and medium enterprises, "going out" policy of Chinese enterprises, Japan’s economy after the earthquake and its influence on Guangdong and so on.
