On the morning of October 13th, Mr. Sigismond BPW Notodipuro, the senior expert adviser for members of the first and second committees of Indonesia Congress, Mr. Alman Helvas Ali, researcher for Defense and Marine Research Institute, Mr. Irman Supriadi Rambe, member of the first committee of Indonesia Congress visited Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Sui Guangjun, the Party secretary of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and the executive deputy director of Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies and Gu Yeli, vice president of GDUFS, met with the guests in the VIP Hall in North Campus. Li Qing, Secretary-general of GRIIS and Wang Shuchun, deputy director of School of Legal Studies also attended the meeting.
Sui Guangjun extended welcome to the guests coming to attend the seminar of "Focusing on South China Sea Issue: the Cooperation and Development of China and Indonesia" and introduced the situation of the university. He mentioned that GRIIS focused on the major issues of international strategy of Guangdong with GDUFS as functional base. It is an important research and consulting institution that submits policy and strategic research reports to Guangdong provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government. This seminar was hosted by GRIIS and will open further the academic exchanges between the two sides.
Mr.Sigismond BPW Notodipuro expressed the honor to visit GDUFS and hoped the visit could be a new start for the cooperation. He wished that two countries could enhance communications and cooperation for mutual benefits. Later, the two sides presented souvenir and took pictures.
