Recently, according to the notification jointly issued by the Financial Department and Education Department of Guangdong province, five professors of GDUFS, Wang Yuhong, Yuan Denghua, Shi Youqi, Shen Minghao and Chen Yanhui, were respectively funded by the "Special Funding of Guangdong Province for Universities to Introducing Talents (the 3rdand the 4thgroup)", with a total amount of 360,000 RMB.
The five projects are: On humanities by Wang Yuhong, funded 50.000 RMB, the Study on the Cognitive Processing Mechanism of the Formation of the Brand Image-- Taking the Origin Advantage of Guangdong Brand as a Case Study by Yuan Denghua, funded 10,000 RMB, Study on Legal Issues of Intergovernmental Cooperation in the Integration of Pearl River Delta by Shi Youqi, funded 80,000 RMB, the Influence of Entrepreneurial Spirit and Environment Management in the Transition Period on Family Behavior by Shen Minghao, funded 80,000 RMB, and the Cultural Implication and Literature Value of the Bronze Inscriptions in Zhou Dynasty by Chen Yanhui, funded 50,000 RMB.
It is reported that in April and May the Personnel Department had organized six qualified professors in two groups to apply for the "High-level Talents Project" and "Special Funding for Universities to Introducing Talents". Five of them passed the evaluation of experts and obtained the fund.
In order to better the introduction of the high-level creative talents from home and abroad by the universities in Guangdong Province, improve the ability of scientific creation and the level of discipline building, optimize the team of teachers and increase capital efficiency, Guangdong Province formulated in November 2007 the Provisional Regulations for the Special Fund Management for the Talents Introduction of the High School in Guangdong Province. This Regulation aims to create conditions for the introduction and a good environment for talents cultivation. It mainly supports the leading talents of new discipline and excellent young talents of great potential. It is one of the important measures that the Province takes to introduce and cultivate talents and advance the development of the team of high-level talents.
