In the morning of May, 9th, the president of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies Zhong Weihe met with Prof. Klaus Eberman, the chief consultant on foreign affairs of EU and former ambassador to China, in the VIP room of the Administration Building in the north campus. Jiao Fangtai, director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and Li Qing, secretary-general of Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies also attended the meeting.
Zhong Weihe extended warm welcome to Prof. Klaus Eberman and thanked him for accepting the invitation of Center for European Studies to talk about the status and influence of the Euro Zone’s debt crisis.
Then, Prof. Klaus Eberman said he was looking forward to communicating with teachers and students of GDUFS, since he believed that this was an important way to promote friendly relations.
After the meeting, Zhong Weihe presented souvenir to the professor, and a photo was taken to mark the occasion.
