In the afternoon of April 20th, the 5thYunshan Academic Salon of Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies was held successfully in the Building 6 of north campus under the topic that Discussion Meeting on the Special Fund Project for Low Carbon Project of Provincial Development and Reform Commission. The meeting was hosted by vice Secretary-general Liu Jisen. Prof. Xiao Yaofei, Dr. Huang Liangxiong, Prof. Yang Jiejun and Dr. Zhou Junyu attended this meeting. They carried out in-depth discussion on the low carbon program, put forward suggestions for improvement and promoted the research of this program,.
During the meeting, Dr. Huang Liangxiong introduced the major content and data calculation methods in detail. He demonstrated the relation between Guangdong’s industrial restructuring and energy saving and carbon reduction and the research in this field. Prof. Yang Jiejun introduced the programs researching Guangdong’s Emission Right Trade and pointed out the goal of research.
Besides, Dr. Zhou Junyu presented his research on Guangdong’s coping tactics of international low carbon barrier, with the focus on the types of low carbon barrier and its impact on Guangdong’s foreign trade and economy, as well as Guangdong’s countering measures.
These discussions achieved great result and provided more references for the research.
