On September 26th, Gu Yeli, vice president of GDUFS, led a team of ten members to Sun Yat-Sen University to conduct a research on base building. Professor Liu Jisen, deputy director of Guangdong Major Research Base of Soft Science and deputy secretary general of GRIIS, also attended the research.
First of all, He Xingqiang, deputy director general of Social Sciences Department of SYSU, hosted thecolloquium. Yuan Xuming, the deputy director general, made a brief introduction about the working system of SYSU base. Additionally, Professor Liu Zhiwei, director of Historical Anthropology Studies Centre of SYSU and Professor Song Junhua, deputy executive director of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Studies Centre of SYSU, presented the achievements and future plans of the scientific research, the management mode and the financial support of the base.
After the colloquium, the research group made a field visit to the Historical Anthropology Studies Centre and National Intangible Cultural Heritage Studies Centre of SYSU.
Wei Minghai, vice president of SYSU, had a meal with the research group at noon.
