On the morning of Aug. 5th, Mr. Huang Zhihao, deputy major of Yunfu, led a delegation of 7 people including Jiang Hongcan, director of the Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Yunfu, and Chen Guirong, investigator of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau of Yunfu, visited GRIIS. Mr. Huang firstly clarified that the purpose of the visit is to seek for advice and suggestions from GRIIS on the Zongrui Industrial Zone of Yunfu which is now under construction. The participants to the seminar also included Su Yi, deputy director of Party Committee and President Office of GDUFS.
Liu Jisen, the deputy secretary of GRIIS, introduced GRIIS to the leaders of Yunfu from five aspects: research team, forum series, research achievements, academic journals and database. He focused on the GRIIS’ service for local economy, such as the cooperation with Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan and Zhuhai.
Both sides agreed that the cooperation with Yunfu in the internationalization of society and economy showed a sound prospect.
Sui Guangjun, secretary of the CPC Party Committee of GDUFS, and Li Qing, secretary general of GRIIS, pay high attention to the cooperation with Yunfu and require GRIIS to fulfill the task with high quality.
