On the morning of July 11th, the Scientific Research Department of GDUFS made the annual inspection to GRIIS for the Key Research Base of Soft Science of Guangdong Province. The participants include Gu Yeli, vice president of GDUFS, Yang Aimin, director of Scientific Research Department, other leaders of GDUFS and leaders of GRIIS.
On the meeting, Yang Aimin introduced that the inspection aimed to do better on the building of the Key Research Base of Soft Science of Guangdong Province and provide an opportunity for the leaders of the scientific divisions of different departments of the university to communicate. Then, Liu Jisen, deputy secretary general of GRIIS, introduced the situation of the Base from perspectives of scientific research, academic exchanges and publications. The participants approved the achievements and put forward suggestions.
Gu Yeli concluded the meeting in the following points: 1. GRIIS should clarify the orientation of the Research Base, which is the research on the strategy of science and technology internationalization; 2. GRIIS should strengthen the connection to Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Province; 3. GRIIS should reform the internal system for researchers; 4. The direction of programs should be concentrated and of high level, reflected by internationalization. Li Qing promoted the problems that GRIIS would pay attention to: 1. Handle the relation between GRIIS and the Research Base; 2. How GRIIS should support the development of the Base; 3. Focus on the research on the strategy of science and technology internationalization.
