The 33rd European Forum and the 37th Yunshan Academic Salon: European Crisis in the Post-crisis Era

On Nov. 11^th, the 33rd European Forum and the 37th Yunshan Academic Salon was held in Room B103 in the 6^thTeaching Building on North Campus. Jiang Shixue, deputy director of European Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Science, gave a lecture on “the Prediction to the Development of European Economy”. Master students and doctor candidates ofCenter for European Studiesand teachers and students of other schools of GDUFS attended the lecture. Cai Hong, director of Center for European Studies hosted the lecture.

Jiang Xueshi promoted firstly that the post-crisis era started only after the crisis ended. The economic statistics show that Europe is “creeping out of the woods”. He then analyzed ten advantages and four disadvantages of the European economy in the future. Finally, he made exchanges with participants on issues like EU economic policies and the influence to China.
