From November 7 to 8, 2013 Contemporary World Multilateral Dialogue was held in Beijing hosted by China Contemporary World Research Center of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the CPC and co-organized by China Peaceful Development Fund and China Energy Fund Committee. Gu Yeli, vice president of GDUFS and Liu Jisen, deputy secretary general of GRIIS, were invited to attend the dialogue meeting.
Yu Hongjun, deputy director of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the CPC and director of China Contemporary World Research Center, chaired the opening ceremony. People who made a speech at the opening ceremony include Wang Jiarui, vice chairman of CPPCC and director of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, Stepan Mesic, former President of Croatia, István Ujhelyi, vice chairman of Hungarian congress, and Cai Koushen, deputy director of the Committee of Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports under the CPPCC.
Experts of GDUFS
The main topic of this dialogue is the “Global Trend and China in the Coming Decade”. It has made in-depth discussion about the global development trend in the coming decade, the role of China in the world and China’s selection of strategies. This dialogue meeting attracted more than 150 scholars from different countries, organizations and universities.
