On the afternoon of 24th October, the conclusion discussion meeting of the project of “International Experience and Countermeasure Study of the Transformation and Upgrading of Major Industries in Foshan” was held in the Development and Reform Bureau of Foshan. The project was undertaken by GRIIS.
Professor Xiao Yaofei, chief editor of "International Economics and Trade Research", Shan Weidong, the professor of School of Management in Guangdong Technology and Normal , Zhang Chaozhi, the director of policy study office of Foshan government, Zeng Youyue, deputy director of policy study office of Foshan government and all members of the project team attended the meeting.
Li Qing, secretary-general of GRIIS and the leader of the project team introduced the situation of the project. The report of “International Experience and Countermeasure Study of the Transformation and Upgrading of Major Industries in Foshan” analyzed the present situation of transformation and upgrading in Foshan and also gave some suggestions on the further transformation and upgrading of the industry. This report guides Foshan in improving the international competence of manufacturing industry and service industry.
