President of GDUFS Zhong Weihe welcomed his visit and expressed his thanks to his support for GDUFS’s internationalization. Klaus Ebermann expressed that he is very privileged to be visiting professor of GDUFS and academic adviser of Center for European Studies.
Klaus Ebermann have delivered two special lectures called “Europe 2014” and “European external relations”, which were chaired by Cai Hong, deputy director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office and Li Yongning, chief editor of"International Focus"respectively. He talked about some European hot issues such as Ukraine crisis, European debt crisis, and TTIP negotiation. He also put forward his own opinions about the European integration. During his visit, he also exchanged withLi Qing, Secretary-general of GRIISon academic cooperation and international project application.
Additionally, Klaus Ebermann, as visiting researcher of GDUFS and GRIIS, was interviewed by China Daily and expressed his views about the current situation and future of China-Europe relations.
