Scholars of GRIIS Were Invited to Attend

From June 6 to 7, Professor Zhao Bole and Dr. Song Haixiao of Center for Indian Studies were invited to attend "the Second China-South Asia Think-tank Forum" held in Kunming and made statements on the building of "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" through China-India cooperation.

"China-South Asia Think-tank Forum" is a large international forum organized by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the People's Government of Yunnan. The second Forum, under the theme of "Connectivity: Building the New Silk Road", attracted 120 representatives as well as dozens of invited delegates from China, India, South Asia and Africa. The forum is divided into two parts: "Silk Road and the Surrounding States" and "New Silk Road and the Economic Corridor".
