Recently, the results of first major projects approved and initiated by National Social Science Fund in 2014 have been published, which include the project “Theoretical Analysis and Policy Research on Building China into a Strategic Pivot Country in the Next Decade” declared by Professor Zhou Fangyin of GRIIS. This is the second major project of GDUFS after the first one was approved in 2012.
The success of this project reflects that GRIIS has been ceaselessly focusing on the research of important realistic issues and playing an active role as a think tank. In recent years, GRIIS has declared a number of high-level projects, including project of Innovation Team under Ministry of Education, major project of National Social Science Fund, major project entrusted by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation team project, setting a good example.
