On July 4, NACT Seminar on Building an ASEAN-China Community of Common Destiny was held inBeijing. Liu Jianchao, Assistant Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Zhao Jinjun, dean of China Foreign Affairs University attended the opening ceremony and made the opening speeches. ASEAN countries’ envoys toChina, coordinators of NACT, experts and scholars from ten countries ofChinaand ASEAN, representatives of media attended the seminar. At the invitation of China Foreign Affairs University, Li Qing, secretary-general of GRIIS and Zhou Fangyin, researcher of GRIIS attended the seminar and participated in the discussion of the issues including “construct the strategic mutual trust and enhance the cooperation of political security”, “speed up the mutual development and deepen the economic cooperation” and “cultivate the people-to-people friendly relationship and extend the social and humanist cooperation”, etc.
