From June 14 to June 15, at the invitation of Secretariat of Emerging Economies Research Association of China, Prof. Liu Jisen, deputy secretary-general of GRIIS and Dr. Huang Liangxiong, researcher of GRIIS attended the Youth Forum of the Emerging Economies Research Association of China held in Yunnan Normal University. Participants include 33 experts and scholars from the Institute of World Economics and Politics of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Tsinghua University and so on.
In the evening of June 14, Liu Jisen, on behalf of Li Qing, secretary-general of GRIIS attended the meeting of the Executive Council. There was a heated discussion about the introduction of the Forum, its mechanism, main tasks, and financial resources.
In the morning of June 15, Prof. Yang Lin, president of Yunnan Normal University, gave an address on the opening ceremony. Liu Jisen made a report to the Forum on international economic cooperation by illustrating the construction of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. In the afternoon, he delivered a speech on "the Dilemma of Global Economic Governance and China's Strategies".
