Sui Guangjun extended warm welcome to the guests and introduced briefly the curriculum, employment, foreign exchanges and scientific research institutions of the university. He emphasized on Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies and Research Institute of International Service Outsourcing. China, including Guangdong Province, has always attached great importance to exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN countries. As independent government think tanks, the two Research Institutes provide ome support to the Guangdong Provincial Government. As a base for cultivating international talents, GDUFS would like to conduct academic cooperation and research with Vietnam universities and research institutes to promote cultural, economic and trade cooperation between China and Vietnam. Sui Guangjun invited Vietnamese experts to participate in the forum on ASEAN research and low-carbon and environmental protection, which would be held in GDUFS this year. He also invited Consul-General To Quoc Tuan to give a lecture on China-Vietnam relations for the teachers and students in the university.
