In the morning of August 5th, with the recommendation of Ambassador Zhang Yan in India, Professor B.R. Deepak, Doctor of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Post Doctor of University of Edinburgh, UK, and senior professor of Center for Chinese and South East Asian Studies of Jawaharlal Nehru University, made an academic visit to Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. A seminar was held by Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies in the 3rdConference Room of Administration Building to exchange ideas on academics and future joint research plan. The participants included Prof. Li Qing, Secretary-general of GRIIS, Prof. Liu Jisen, deputy secretary general of GRIIS, Prof. Li Yongning, director of editorial department of "Studies on Strategic Decisions" and chief editor of "Trends of the International Affairs", Prof. Zuo Liancun, expert in Indian Studies and Doctor Song Haixiao from Guangdong Survey Research Center. The meeting was hosted by Prof. Li Qing.
