On the morning of April 25th, as the deputy council member, GRIIS attended the 2ndSession of the 1stCouncil Meeting of the Promotion Council for Low Carbon Development of Guangdong Province. The secretariat of the Council reported on the work in 2012 and the working plan for 2013. After the reports, GRIIS stated the intention to cooperate for the arrangement of Development and Reform Commission og Guangdong Province and the Council in order to spare no efforts in supporting the low carbon development of Guangdong. So far, GRIIS has held two international forums for low carbon development of Guangdong, which result in a series of projects, monographs, papers, research reports and other achievements for low carbon study.
