Entrusted by the leaders of Guangdong province, GRIIS took five projects on the development of Guangdong foreign trade and economies. The projects included the influence of the construction of Shanghai free trade area to Guangdong, the contributions of the development of foreign trade and economies to Guangdong GDP, Guangdong’s attraction of foreign business and investment, the informatization issues during the development of foreign trade and economies and how low-carbon industry influences the transformation and upgrading of Guangdong. On the morning of 26thSeptember, GRIIS gathered the heads of the projects to have a meeting on the research of the projects. The participants had a profound discussion and formed the initial idea about the projects. After the meeting, they would make specific research plans and start to do the research.
