In December, 2013, the application for Provincial Collaborative Innovation Platform was launched by Guangdong Provincial Department of Education. The application of GDUFS was led by Development and Planning Department and jointly implemented by Department of Scientific Research, Department of Personnel and GRIIS, during which leaders of GDUFS, including Sui Guangjun,the Party secretary of GDUFS and Zhong Weihe, the president of GDUFS, participated in person the preparation of the application materials.
